Her entire show left me in absolute bliss!
I love how she comes out and introduces her opening acts, it shows that she truly does care and take the time to find these people to play with her.
I met Ryan Breen, aka the producer of Miniature Tigers album Tell it to the Volcano last night. I found this out because I somewhat jokingly asked him if he knew Charlie Brand. You should check out his music Back Ted n Ted. If you get the chance, go see him live as he does an excellent job as well. Oh I told him that I think Immi would really like Alvin Band, and he said that he would introduce it to her! (he could try miniature tigers to, but I really think Immi would get a huge kick out of Alvin Band)
I thought seeing Jon Hopkins open for Coldplay last year couldn’t get any stranger (yet cool at the same time) until last night when Tim Exile opened. He started out by eating some chips, chewing into the mic to have it go into a loop. He than passed the chips around the audience and had them eat some into the microphone.
Immi is just all around lovely live, and from what I’d read of the first two shows she’s played on this tour, it’s seems like her 3rd one really was a charm. She messed up, but than again Imogen is such a perfectionst she’ll restart songs just to get them perfect.
I wish people wouldn’t scream and yell when their favorite song is being played. I mean come on, it’s Imogen Heap and she is likely trying to get her loops going at the begining. Plus her music/show is more mellow so just be quiet and listen to the song than applaud and scream after the song so you (and everyone else) can actually hear the begining.
During the show she was asking about these flags (to hold when you cross the street) they had here last time and what happened to them. I was explaining the answer to this, along with others when she actually sat down, took out her earpiece, and than waited for me to repeat.
Than after the entire show, she went to go give people high fives, she came to me first, and shook my hand (but nobody else’s). I wish I could have actually met her as well, but I will have to try for that when she comes back in April.
Oh yes, I got the set list… not just any set list, but Immi’s set list.
I must admit, I’m sort of jealous.
so I guess I’m going now. Wish I didn’t have to work that day so I could get there before doors, but I’ll still get to see Regina.

B-side to Into the Mirror, the lead single from their forthcoming LP (which is still untitled and label-less).
Last Show: Stars of Track and Field (I went for)/Lights (left after 5 songs)
Next Show: Imogen Heap (tomorrow!!)
I’m listening to So Sudden by The Hush Sound, and tears are welling up in my eyes. The songs move me, lyrically and nostalgically. Eileen, Echo, all of the songs, they’re just so beautiful… and I miss this band. So much. They were one of my favorite bands, and they always will be. They hold a special place in my heart. Now, I go to bed with the last note of Eileen reverberating in my ears.
While I was there, I passed this guy (and I’ll assume his dad) a few times. The last time I saw them, the guy says “This is three times now!”
That pretty much made my night to have him recognize the same girl (while in a busy store) he must have really been paying attention.
I skipped my math class. I don’t regret it.
I also dropped my online class. I did so horrible on a project in that class, my grade would have been awful.
